DMW Suspension Package

- XT IMS -- the no-nonsense DMW IMS monotube shock. Built for extreme durability, load carrying and reliable comfort with exceptional handling.
- XT MRA -- full adjustability with the remote reservoir adjustable shock, tuned to handle the toughest roads. Features 11-stage rebound, 16-stage low-speed and 14-stage high-speed compression adjustment for total ride control.
Both options are paired with upgraded springs to handle the extra weight, plus an array of supporting components to improve ride quality and handling.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) & Brake Testing
To hold federal approvals as a Second Stage Manufacturer, DMW completes exhaustive FEA testing and analysis plus brake testing to ensure your vehicle is safe at the increased GVM. FEA is a computer simulation technique that analyses GVM upgrade products in detail for stress, vibration, heat transfer and many other physical characteristics. Combined with brake testing, this ensures your family is safe and your vehicle is insured once the GVM upgrade has been added.
GCM Upgrades by State
GVM upgrades are approved across all Australian states and territories, both pre and post registration. GCM (Gross Combination Mass) upgrades vary by jurisdiction -- key notes:
- QLD, WA, ACT & NT: GCM upgrade NOT approved on in-service (registered) vehicles; approved pre-registration under SSM.
- NSW, SA, VIC & TAS: GCM upgrade approved both pre and post registration (subject to compliance signatory).
- BTC (Braked Towing Capacity) upgrades are not permitted on light vehicles under any state.
A vehicle that is legally registered in one Australian state or Territory with a BTC, GVM or GCM upgrade can legally travel in another state or Territory. Actual GVM increase and availability subject to specific model variants.
